In an electrifying atmosphere filled with excitement and national pride, the 10th Arab Handball Championship kicked off in style at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex, with a grand opening hosted by the Kuwait Handball Federation.
Back after a 23-year hiatus, the prestigious championship returns from none other than the land of peace and hospitality — Kuwait.
Running until May 11th, the tournament features 9 elite Arab national teams, divided into three groups:

Group A: Bahrain, Iraq, Egypt

Group B: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Tunisia

Group C: Kuwait, Morocco, UAE
The top team from each group will qualify for the semifinals, joined by the best second-placed team across all groups.
The opening ceremony dazzled fans, especially with a stirring performance by Kuwaiti singer Hamood AlKhudher, who sang the tournament’s official anthem — a heartfelt welcome to all Arab brothers and guests in their second home, Kuwait.
