This is the third bronze medal for Kuwait in the current edition, bringing its total tally to 8 medals (2 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze).

The first half between the two teams ended in a draw (14-14), and Kuwait decided the match in its favor by winning the second half (17-16).

Abdulaziz Al-Shammari shone in Kuwait, scoring 7 goals, while Saleh Ali added 6 goals and Haider Dashti (4 goals).

The Qatari and Bahrain national teams will meet later today in a classic final, repeating the previous edition in Jakarta 5 years ago, when “Annabi” Al-Hadi retained the gold medal that he also won at the Incheon Asiad.
