The first half ended with the Kuwaiti team leading by twenty goals to fourteen.

It maintained its advantage during the second half to end the match with a two-goal margin and qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament, where it will face Al-Arabi of Qatar.

Al-Rayyan of Qatar, who already qualified for the golden square, finished the second group competitions with a full score by defeating Maliha of the Emirates by thirty-one goals to twenty-one.
