The national team is set to begin training next Tuesday as part of its preparations for the upcoming Arab Championship, scheduled to be held in the country this May.
In this regard, National Teams Technical Director Faisal Sowan confirmed that the initial training phase will follow a well-structured plan developed by the administrative and technical staff of the federation. This phase includes starting with one evening training session per day until official player release approvals are obtained.
Sowan added that the training load will gradually increase to build greater cohesion among the players, help them adapt to the coach’s playing style, and identify the optimal squad lineup for the championship.
He also noted that this first phase will provide an important opportunity for the coaching staff to meet the players face-to-face for the first time and to establish a direct and effective line of communication between them.
