Coach Saeed Hegazy confirmed that physical preparation in the beginning was the focus, as the youth players went through a period of academic tests, which prevented them from participating in training and various gatherings, but we were able to make up for what was missed in the physical aspects by doubling the training.
Hegazy continued: “We have a project for defensive and offensive play and how to deal with various defensive and offensive plans in their diversity.”
He explained that arrangements have been made to hold friendly, experimental, preparatory matches, as we are supposed to play several friendly matches with Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, and Montenegro. He added that these matches provide the required international contact and bring experience to the young players. We will seek to divide the players’ efforts in training and friendly matches, and we look forward to reaching the tournament and exiting. Of which there were no casualties
